Flash flooding hit Dominica due to Hurricane Beryl, situations likely to get normal

Roseau, Dominica: Tropical Storm watch has been discontinued for Dominica but a flood watch is still in effect for the island nation. Recently, the visuals of heavy rainfall in front of Hotel Fort Young, Bayfront, Roseau signifies that the residents still need to be vigilant and active enough to take precautionary measures by time in order to protect themselves from any uncertain situations.
As per the Dominica Meteorological Service, showers in Dominica have taken a break and high pressures takes the wheel today, bringing partly cloudy skies and bit of a breeze. They have also stated that a few scattered showers might pop up still, therefore the citizens have been asked to keep an umbrella handy.
As per the information, the haze will linger for a few more days so the citizens with respiratory issues have been advised to take precautions and follow preventive measures. Moreover, people on the coast have also been urged to be cautious of breaking waves and small craft operators and sea bathers are told to stay out of the water.
It is also being predicted that the situations are likely to get normal in Dominica in the coming days as there is no potential threat to the island nation. But the authorities are advising all its residents to take precautionary measures seriously as hurricane season will run through November 30, 2024.
The hurricane has been creating several disturbances in the island nation which has not only affected Dominica but several other Caribbean regions as well. Therefore, the Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit is continuing to pray for the best outcome for the residents of the sister islands, particularly those who are badly affected in Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Moreover, PM Skerrit has promised to offer assistance to the affected nations and have stated that he will provide all the required resources to help his neighbouring countries with a motive of bringing the nations back to their normal positions.
