Edward Registe passed away in Wednesday morning

Minister Edward Registe died on Wednesday morning. Minister was a Member of Parliament from Grand Bay Constituency. According to the reports, Edward Registe passed away due to a heart attack.
Registe was appointed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Minister of State. He also handled in International Business and Diaspora Relations with special responsibility for Diaspora Relations. He also served as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly of Dominica. Registe was also the former General Secretary of Dominica Labour Party.
Minister Registe was also known for his fieldwork. He was working along with the Dominica Labour Party for many years. He was appointed as the Senator of Dominica Labour Part in 2014. Minister worked as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly of Dominica.
Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit also expressed his condolences to the family of Minister Edward Registe.
In 2019, Edward Registe fought elections for the first time and won the election, which was his great success from the Grand Bay constituency.
People are shocked by the sudden passing of Registe. The social media was flooded with messages of condolences from all over Dominica and the diaspora. People recalled him as a parliament representative with the most powerful voice.
