Dominica’s Mervin Mingo and Bill Clarke Frederick to compete at NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour in El Salvador

Dominica’s Mervin Mingo and Bill Clarke Frederick are all set to head to El Salvador to compete at the 8th stage of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Continental Tour. This tournament has been scheduled to take place form 8^th – 10^th November, 2024 at Beach Sports Complex, San Salvador.

This NORCECA Beach Volleyball Continental Tour is a beach volleyball competition which is organized by the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). Notably, NORCEA is the international governing body which is responsible for conducting continental championships for beach volleyball.

This championship is a great platform for the volleyball enthusiasts to showcase their skills, techniques, talent and abilities on the international platform and elevate the profile of their country to greater heights in terms of sports sector.

The Dominica Olympic Committee and Dominica Amateur Volleyball Association also extended congratulations to Mervin Mingo and Bill Clarke Frederick. They wished them safe travel and continued success for their upcoming tournament.

Recently, the champion duo from Dominica, Bill Frederick and Mervin Mingo claimed the title of Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) Under 21 Men’s Beach Volleyball Champions. They defeated St Kitts and Nevis in the finals and secured the victory with scores 21-19 and 21-18 runs respectively.

The ECVA Under 21 Men’s Volleyball Championship was held from 30 August to 1 September 2024 at the Marriott Beach. This competition was conducted between 11 nations and Mervin Mingo and Bill Clarke Frederick emerged victorious after defeating all their opponents to claim the title.

The Dominica Amateur Volleyball Association is hoping to continue their series of win by showcasing their exceptional performances in the upcoming NORCECA Beach Volleyball Continental Tour.
