Dexter Tyrell passes away, Dr Denzil Douglas mourns loss
Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended condolences on the passing away of Dexter Tyrell.

Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas extended condolences on the passing away of Dexter Tyrell. He recalled several contributions of Tyrell and the significant impact that he has created among youth and many aspiring athletes.
While extending condolences, Dr Douglas took to his official social media account and mourned the loss of Dexter Tyrell. He noted that his words are not enough to express his grief but he asked everyone to cherish all the beautiful memories of Tryell and the positive impact created by him.
“We’re reminded that we have One Life and it can be taken away in a moment,” noted Dr. Denzil Douglas.
Dexter Tyrell has served as the Secretariat of the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association who had always worked tirelessly with a vision to promote and develop football in the region. He, as a member of SKNFA elevated the football sector of island nation to greater heights.
He also served as a Director at the St. Christopher Air and Seas Port Authority whose leadership extends beyond sports. He has also worked with the Haynes Smith Youth Club and played an immense role in staging the Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant. Dexter Tyrell has always been a pillar of strength for the sports department of the island nation who has inspired several young athletes and foster a sense of unity and sportsmanship among them.
Moreover, Minister of Sports, Samal Duggins also extended his sincerest condolences to the friends and family members of Dexter Tyrell. He stated that Tyrell was not just a dedicated but also a hard-working member of Department of Sports.
He asserted that Tyrell as a Deputy Director has left a huge mark on all those who has the privilege of working with him. Minister Duggins lauded unwavering commitment and dedication of Tyrell towards his passion for the Department of Sports.
“May Dexter rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire us in our ongoing efforts to advance the cause he cared so deeply about,” noted Minister Samal Duggins.
