Cubana airline restarts weekly flight service to Argentina after several months
Cubana de Aviación airlines has resumed its weekly flight service between Cuba and Argentina from Sunday, which was earlier closed following the surging rate of the COVID-19 infections in both nations, at the starting of this year.

Cubana de Aviación airlines has resumed its weekly flight service between Cuba and Argentina from Sunday, which was earlier closed following the surging rate of the COVID-19 infections in both nations, at the starting of this year.
At around 12:30 pm on Sunday, from Cuba’s International Airport, Flight CU 360 departed, which arrived at the Ezeiza International Airport, Argentina, at around 9:30 pm.
While, the return flight – CU 361, leaves at 12:30 am for the Aéroport de Jardines del Rey in Cayo Coco, Cuba. Flight CU 361 then departed for the José Martí International Airport at 9:20 am and arrived at 10:25 am.
Cuban Ilyushin Il-96-300, who has a seating capacity for around 262 passengers, will be active for the weekly flight service.
The passengers who desire to plan a tour to Argentina or citizens of Argentina who want to visit the Caribbean island can now plan and enjoy their trip under the COVID-19 health protocols. There are a certain set of coronavirus guidelines issued by the governments of both countries that are must to be followed by the passengers, which they can go and check on the official websites of the countries.

Founded on October 8, 1929, Cubana de Aviación is the largest airline on the Cuban island. It is also one of the – earliest airlines to emerge in Latin America, with its headquarters situated at Havana and main base at José Martí International Airport.
The airline started its flight services in the year after it was founded.
The airline came under the complete control of the Cuban government in the year of 1959. Cubana was a founder & is also a current member of the International Air Transport Association – (IATA), the International Association of Aeronautical Telecommunications – (SITA) and the International Association of Latin American Air Transportation – (AITAL).
