Cuba gets assistance from the neighboring countries

The shipment of foods and medical help has been given to Cuba as assistance from countries like Russia, Mexico and Bolivia. This assistance has been provided for the past few weeks. While on the same time, the United States have been imposing more restrictions and more sanctions on the Caribbean country of Cuba.
The Island of Cuba and its government have been stuck between the public health and economic crisis at one time. In recent days the COVID-19 cases in the country have been increasing.
Mexico’s ambassador to Cuba – Miguel Díaz Reynoso, while talking about the assistance given by Mexico, said that the arrival of assistance to Cuba was awaited along with other vessels and another form of support assistance and support cooperation and representing the only remarkable and straightforward thing. He added that this assistance by the neighboring countries has been remarking the proof of friendship and solidarity.
Miguel Díaz Reynoso said, “That’s what President Obrador asked for. For Cuba to have what it needs now, and that’s what is being shipped.”
Cuba had also been warned by the president of the United States, Joe Biden, that they would impose more sanctions on the Caribbean country in the future.
New sanctions have been imposed against two top Cuban officials & the Cuban National Revolutionary Police by the Biden administration for their part in the crackdown against antigovernmental protesters in Cuba. Thousands of people gathered on the streets of Cuba and made it one of the biggest protests in the decades.
The announcement of the new sanctions was made just before President Biden led a meet for the Cuban-American leaders. This meeting was attended by Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., and Manny Diaz, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, at the White House Friday afternoon.
This meet was hosted to discuss the sanctions & other features of the U.S. response to the regime’s violent removal of the peaceful protests.
