Martinique: Vaccination to fight deadly coronavirus started in the Caribbean. Approximately two hundred and eighty-three people in Martinique got COVID-19 vaccines.
According to the Regional Health Agency Director, Martinique, Jérôme Viguier, has declared that the number will immediately expand. According to the agency of health & wellness, the COVID-19 situation in Martinique is now permanent.
Officials of health & wellness announced eight positive cases the previous week. But they said there were 88 the last week. Ten thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccines succeeded on the French Caribbean Island on January 6. Mass Vaccination can restrict the spreading of covid-19.
Martinique got the vaccines one day before its vaccination campaign officially began. Frontline medical workers and vulnerable people are on the priority list to get Vaccination.
Nevertheless, getting the vaccine is not obligatory, the authorities say. Media reports indicate that 44 people in Martinique have expired as a result of deadly coronavirus.
According to several reports, more than 14 million people have been tested positive for dangerous, deadly coronavirus. Half of them are suffering from numerous more complications. Hence, strict lockdown regulations have been applied in the respective member states of several countries.
Facebook users commented, “I will not be taking this vaccine, and they better not force people to take it. Deal with the people who are responsible for the virus and putting the world in this crisis.”
“Most Martinique people are just against taking it as the other islands. This was part of the campaign, which ended this week. Mostly health workers were given,” commented another user.
Novel UK strain of coronavirus also appears as a new hurdle in front of the world. Still, the immeasurable thing is that several vaccine companies declared that their vaccines could fight against this novel mutant COVID-19.
Several countries like India, the USA, and Russia had already initiated their vaccination process. In the meantime, the UK is on its last to suffer because of this new strain.
