CONCACAF announces schedule of fourth edition of Caribbean Club Shield 2022
CONCACAF has officially announced the schedule for the fourth edition of the CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield 2022, which would be played between April 15-24.

Caribbean: CONCACAF has officially announced the schedule for the fourth edition of the CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield (CCCS) 2022. The tournament will be played between April 15 and April 24 in Puerto Rico.
As per the official website of CONCACAF, the competition will be hosted by the Estadio Centroamericano de Mayagüez and Estadio Juan Ramón Loubriel.
The tournament will have 19 matches, which will be played by 13 teams of 13 Caribbean Member Associations.
The planned schedule of the tournament is as follow:

The CONCACAF tournament will start with Group-stage matches. After the round-robin play, the (four) group winners will compete at the semi-finals, which will be played in Mayagüez from April 22, 2022 (Friday).
The finals will be played at the same location on April 24, 2022 (Sunday).
It is worth noting that CCCS Champion 2022 fulfils the CONCACAF Regional Club Licensing criteria to participate in the Scotiabank Concacaf League (SCL). The play-in match of the tournament will commence from May 24, 2022, between the fourth-place finishers of the 2022 CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship (CCCC) and the 2022 CCCS Champion.
The matchwinner will bag the last spot for Caribbean clubs in the 2022 SCL.
The game will be played into four groups; as per the officials of the tournament, the division of the groups is as follow:
Group A: Bayamon FC (Puerto Rico), Flames United SC (Sint Maarten), Southeast FC (Dominica), Junior Stars FC (Saint Martin)
Group B: SV Real Rincon (Bonaire), SWA Sharks FC (Turks and Caicos Islands), CRKSV Jong Holland (Curaçao)
Group C: Deportivo Nacional (Aruba), Golden Lion (Martinique), Inter Moengo Tapoe (Suriname)
Group D: Scholars International SC (Cayman Islands), AS Gosier (Guadeloupe), Platinum FC (Saint Lucia)
