Barbados Food and Rum Festival crowned Caribbean’s Best Culinary Festival
Barbados Food and Rum Festival received the award at the 5th Annual World Culinary Awards, held at Summersalt Jumeirah Al Naseem, Dubai, UAE.

Barbados Food and Rum Festival, most celebrated festival of island nation has for the second consecutive year claimed the prestigious title of the Caribbean’s Best Culinary Festival. This award is a testament to its diverse offerings and the commitment of the authorities towards not only celebrating the festival but also boosting the tourism sector to greater heights.
This award was claimed by the Barbados Food and Rum Festival at the 5th Annual World Culinary Awards, held at Summersalt Jumeirah Al Naseem, Dubai, UAE.
After winning the award, the CEO of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc, Andrea Franklin stated that they are extremely honoured to receive this prestigious award for the second consecutive year. He added that this award shed light on the unwavering hard work and dedication of every person involved in making the event successful.
He added that this recognition is a testament to the determination of all their talented chefs, mixologists and everybody else who played a huge role in making this event a great success and a renowned festival of not only Barbados but the entire Caribbean region.
BARBADOS FOOD AND RUM FESTIVAL 2024
The festival is known as the Ultimate Foodie Dream Weekend which will be conducted from 24th October and will continue till 27th October 2024. This Festival is all set to return to offer all the attendees with the unique and delicious meals made by local and guest chefs, promoting the diverse flavours of the country.
The festival is a mecca for foodies all over the world, where Barbados celebrates its finest culinary talent and expertise.
The authorities noted that this year’s Barbados Food and Rum Festival promises to be even more enticing with a dynamic line-up of culinary events. The events include, Liquid Gold Feast, Rise and Rum Breakfast, Beach Party, Rum Rout, Chef Classics, Bajan Fair and the first ever Rum Night.
The authorities stated that they are looking forward to attract thousands of visitors, promoting not only the tourism sector but also the delicious and rich flavours of the island nation.
