2 people successfully rescued in Turks and Caicos following plane crash
Two individuals were rescued after a small plane crash that departed from Palm Beach, Florida, and landed in the waters near the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean.

Two individuals were rescued after a small plane crash that departed from Palm Beach, Florida, and landed in the waters near the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean. The incident is reported to have taken place on Saturday around 10 miles off Providenciales island.
As per the reports shared by The Royal Turks and Caicos Island Police Force, the information about the aircraft landing on water was provided to them shortly after midday. They stated that as soon as they received the report, they immediately acted on it and held a search operation along with the help from the U.S. Coast Guard.
The aircraft reportedly suffered engine failure and both the passengers, i.e. a man and a woman were successfully retrieved and transported to a local hospital. The identities and nationalities of the passengers have not been disclosed yet but they are undergoing a medical treatment and doctors have stated that they are providing them with the best medical facilities.
Not only the Turks and Caicos Island Police Force but a strategic coordinating group was formed to held the search operation and rescue the victims. The representatives of the group include, RT& CIPF, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies and Ministry of Health. They all worked collaboratively in order to ensure that victims are rescued safely and securely.
Following the successful rescue operation, the Acting Assistance Commissioner of Police Mat Newton extended gratitude to the crew of the US Coastguard helicopter as well as the Marine Branch of the RT&CIPF. He also acknowledged the measures undertaken by the staff members of the Department of Environment and Coastal Resources, the Department of Fisheries and Resources Management, Caribbean Cruisin, and vessels from the Turks and Caicos Island Search and Rescue Association.
The citizens also lauded entire management team of Turks and Caicos Island for being active and saving the life of two individual.
