Commonwealth: Secretary General Patricia Scotland, recently welcomed the 18-member delegation of the Commonwealth of Dominica to Birmingham, United Kingdom. She wished the team and optimised to watch them in full action.
Commonwealth Secretary General took social media and noted, “Ahead of tonight’s Opening Ceremony, it was a joy to spend time with the athletes proudly representing Dominica at Birmingham 2022”
She further outlined, “I can’t wait to see them, and everyone else competing, in action!”
CSG Scotland also took a moment to congratulate the athletes from other Commonwealth Nations and gratitude of meeting them all during the opening ceremony of the Birmingham Games 2022. She wrote, “Truly inspired to see all the #Commonwealth athletes at the #B2022 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in #Birmingham tonight.”
Patricia Scotland further wished all the athletes good luck and optimised that the tournament will end with a great success.
She mentioned, “Good luck to all taking part. #Sport is unifying force that brings us together across borders.”
