CPL 2022: The Jamaica Tallawahs won the 12th match of the (CPL 2022) tournament. The match was played at the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium in Islet, Saint Lucia, where the Tallawahs defeated their Opponents, The Trinbago Knight Riders but a comfortable 34 runs.

The match started with the Knight Riders winning the toss and choosing to field first, a decision that backfired on the Knight Riders. The Tallawahs managed to put a decent score of 153 runs on the scorecard with a loss of seven wickets.

Although the 12th Match of the CPL 2022 started slow for the Tallawahs, as they kept losing quick wickets at the start of the game, the Tallawahs managed to hold their ground against the Knight Riders. The star player of the Tallawahs’ innings was the team captain, Rovman Powell, who put a total of 67 runs on the scorecard in 47 deliveries. His time at the striking end of the field saw six fours and four sixes.

The second best among the Tallawahs turned out to be Raymond Reifer, who put other twenty-eight runs on the scoreboard.

The innings of the Tallawahs, although admirable within itself, were defended beautifully by the Feilding of the team.

At the end of 20 overs, The Tallawahs had managed to put 153 runs on the target for the Knight Riders to chase. However, they severely restricted the flow of runs by the Knight Riders.

As a result of the severely restricted Feilding and disciplined bowling by the Jamaica Tallawahs, The Knight Riders finished their innings with only 119 runs on the scoreboard and a loss of eight wickets.

The Tallawahas did not let any players of their opposite team reach anywhere upward of 30 runs. It was no surprise that the best performer in the team, Colin Munro, scored only 29 runs off of 30 balls. His inning included 2 6s and 1 boundary.
