St Kitts and Nevis: As of February 10, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, a total of 4 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded by the healthcare facilities. With these the country’s tally has went up to 5,492.
According to the data by health ministry, since the pandemic has begun, the nation has reported around 39 deaths. As per the COVID-19 report by the health officials, the number of people successfully recovered from the contiguous virus has been reached at 5,249.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 65,863 people have undergone testing; out of which number of positive test results is 5,492 and number of negative test results is 60,371.
Total number of active cases in the small Caribbean country is at 159.
According to the official notification, total number of cases reported between 27 January 2022 and 9 February 2022 were 161.
So far, the nation has been using two vaccines against COVID-19 – BioNTech, Pfizer vaccine; and Oxford, AstraZeneca vaccine.
The health ministry has also asked general public to abide by the COVID-19 health protocols such as – wearing masks, frequently sanitizing, maintaining a referred physical distance at the public places, and avoiding unnecessary gatherings.
