St Kitts and Nevis: On February 7, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, a total of 8 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded by the healthcare facilities. With these the country’s tally has went up to 5,484.

While a total of 08 COVID-19 patients recovered from the contagious virus in the past 24 hours. According to the data by the health ministry, since the pandemic has begun, the nation has reported around 38 deaths.

As per the COVID-19 report by the health officials, 8 people have been successfully recovered from the contiguous in last 24 hours, taking the count up to 5,255.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 65,760 people have undergone testing; out of which number of positive test results is 5,484 and number of negative test results is 60,276.

Total number of active cases in the small Caribbean country is at 191; 166 in St Kitts and 25 in Nevis. Six have been quarantined at home and 11 are in the facility.

So far, the nation has been using two vaccines against COVID-19 – BioNTech, Pfizer vaccine; and Oxford, AstraZeneca vaccine.
