51 person recovers from COVID-19 in Barbados
Fifty-one persons recovered from coronavirus on Saturday, February 6, and 33 new positive cases were reported.

Recently, Sixty persons were discharged from isolation on Friday, February 5, and this is not just a ray of hope but a relief for all citizens.
People can really rely on the coming vaccines from India. It will also help the population to defeat this lethal coronavirus. Barbados is in high need of some good news that can build the confidence of people in the current government.
The new positives were recognized from the 693 tests administered by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. There are now 291 active coronavirus cases in the nation.
Sixteen men and 17 females made up the new coronavirus cases. Four of them had already presented at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility undergoing assessment to conclude whether their positive PCR test result showed that they were, in fact, recently positive or whether they had coronavirus in the past and were no longer contagious.
Of the other 29 cases, there were 26 Barbadians and three non-residents.
The total number of persons diagnosed as positive at Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds remains at 362.
Of these, 358 have redeemed, and the remaining four patients are included in the mentioned active cases.
Till now, Barbados has reported 1,709 verified cases – 709 females, 1,000 males, and 1,400 persons have reported. Eighteen individuals have died from the coronavirus ailment. The public health laboratory has performed 106,949 tests since February 2020.
After the recent rise of coronavirus in the nation, people were in stress and chaos. But there is the release of sixty people from isolation is a ray of hope. This is not more than a relief for the people.
A Facebook user commented, “wow, everyone starts wearing, and continue to wear your mask. It really does help.” Wearing masks and following protocols is the key of fighting coronavirus.
