Trinidad and Tobago is all set to host the vibrant PINKnic TT at Fatima Grounds, Trinidad, on Saturday, 10th February 2024. The event will be celebrated under the theme “Party with a purpose”, which focuses on raising awareness for breast cancer to be organized by the Air Committee.

The Air Committee initially organised the event in October 2019, which coincided with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In its first edition, the event of PINKnic donated $25,000 (TT) to the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society. This year, the event will collaborate with the Pink Hibiscus Foundation to further support women affected by breast cancer.

The Director of Air Committee, Shane Baird, said the motive behind this event was to make a positive impact by combining a party-like atmosphere with a purpose.

Shane Baird stated that part of the earnings generated from the event will be dedicated to the women suffering from breast cancer as well as to raise awareness about it.

The event will also offer its guests a diverse range of cuisines, from traditional delicacies to fusion creations.
