St Kitts and Nevis: The nation has only four COVID-19 active cases left, as per the data by the health ministry on March 6, 2022, till 6 PM. The SARS-CoV-2 virus infections have been witnessing a downwards trend in St Kitts and Nevis, according to the statics of the health ministry.

Out of the total, four (4) active cases are present in St Kitts, while Nevis has no active case of COVID-19.

As per the Health Ministry, on March 6, the toll of the confirmed cases of the deadly virus remained at zero.

However, in the Federation, as many as 42 people lost their lives because of the virus on March 6, 2022. As per the reports, 35 deaths were reported from St Kitts, while the remaining has been recorded from Nevis.

The pandemic emerged in St Kitts and Nevis on March 2021, and since then, a total of 5,536 people have been exposed to the viral infection caused by the deadly virus. Out of the total confirmed cases, a total of 837 were reported from Nevis, and the remaining 4,699 cases have been reported from St Kitts.

As per the health ministry, so far, as many as 5,490 people have been discharged and recovered from the novel coronavirus; out of them, St Kitts health facilities have healed a total of 4,660 patients, while from Nevis, 830 people have been cured of the viral infection.

However, on Sunday, March 6, 2022, zero (0) new recoveries were reported from the twin Island Federation.

As per the status of the vaccination, till March 3, 2022, around 82.7 percent of the citizens of the Federation are partially vaccinated, while 77.4 percent are fully immunised against the COVID-19 infection. A total of 9.3 percent of the total eligible population received their booster shots.
