Castries, Saint Lucia: Castries-based dog adoption organisation, HelpAWS has recently introduced three little pups, who were adopted by the shelter on Easter Monday – April 10, 2023. The puppies were from the beautiful capital city, Castries and were brought to the volunteers by a local.

The social media post by the organisation mentioned, “Meet our Newest Adoptables – The 3 Musketeers from Castries.”

Furthermore, it introduced all three and stated that they would be cared for here at the shelter.

“These three little girls came to us from the North of the island. Fortunately, they arrived from a loving home where they had been well looked after and cared for. Understandably they are a little unsure of what’s happening, but we’re so excited to see them thrive in their new homes,” the social media post read.

HelpAWS further asserted, “With the amount of abuse we see on the island, it is heart-warming when we hear and see how people care for animals in need; it truly helps restore our faith in humanity. We know at times, it can be a lot to care for your animals; to keep them well fed and properly medicated and dewormed can be costly. We appreciate the effort that is made when individuals try their best to go the extra mile.”

It also mentioned, “We will be honest, it can be stressful at times shuffling around to make space for new babies, while those who have been in our care are receiving no interest in finding their forever homes. But we will persist, and eventually, our sweet babies all find their perfect place and person.”

While stating about donations and support, HelpAWS stated, “If you would like to help us care for these newbies and others in our care, or if you would like to name one of these girls, it’s only $100, which can be sent via E-transfer, PayPal, or Zelle to donate@helpaws.com or Venmo to @helpaws.”
