Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne attended the UWI Public Advocacy Series for the academic year 2022/2023

Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister of the twin-island country Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne attended the UWI Public Advocacy Series for the academic year 2022/2023 on November 14, 2022 (Monday). The leaders of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party joined the Prime Minister.
The UWI Five Island Campus expressed gratitude while welcoming the Prime Minister, and the staff of the university was glad after having a conversation with the leaders. The university took social media and mentioned, “The UWI Public Advocacy Series for the academic year 2022/2023 continued on Monday, November 14, 2022, with A Conversation with The Leaders featuring Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda and Political Leader of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party.”
As per the university, Prime Minister Browne interacted with the students and shared the future plans of the administration. “Prime Minister Browne gave an overview of his administration’s work in the country as well as future plans,” the post by the official page read.
After addressing, PM Browne was interviewed by the moderators – Daren Matthew-Ward, Media Personality, and Anika Kentish, Journalist. The interviewers posed a range of questions to the Prime Minister, including questions about Education, Finance, Jobs, and Disability Issues, according to the university.
Following this, an open Question and Answer segment from the physical and virtual audience members.
The UWI Five Islands Campus concluded its post with a special thanks to PM Browne and the members of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party.
“We would like to thank Prime Minister Browne for accepting our invitation to our Public Advocacy Series and giving such a provocative presentation,” it said while ending.
