Saint Lucia is all set to host the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant. It is to be noted that the pageant will take place on Saturday, 3rd February 2024, at 7 pm.

Castries, Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia is all set to host the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant. The pageant is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 7 pm. The event is all set to take place at Medgar Evers College, 1650 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, New York 11225.

This auspicious event commemorates the 45th anniversary of Saint Lucia’s Independence in the United States of America. The pageant promises to be a celebration of talent, beauty and the vibrant culture of Saint Lucia. The main aim of the pageant is to engage with all the Saint Lucian diaspora who reside in the United States of America.

The Consulate General of Saint Lucia, New York, has introduced all the contestants participating in the pageant. The seven contestants will grace the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant in celebration of Saint Lucia’s 45 years of Independence.

The contestants to participate in the pageant are:

  1. Shenell Hippolyte will represent Soufriere South
  2. Chancy Fontenelle will represent Babonneau
  3. Torisha La Force will represent Dennery
  4. Jada Arthur- October will represent Castries South
  5. Kelly Smith will represent Choiseul
  6. Trisha LaForce will represent Castries North
  7. Neka Andre will represent Soufriere North

Shenell Hippolyte 

She is a goal-oriented and highly dedicated professional with years of experience and expertise in maintaining visual integrity and brand image for Zara. She has also analyzed and maintained an awareness of the latest fashion trends to identify requirements and make relevant merchandise suggestions to maximize sales.

She is now one of the contestants in the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant, which is a testament to her commitment to her personal growth and community enrichment.

Chancy Fontenelle

Chancy Fontenelle hails from the vibrant community of Babonneau. She brings a distinguished pedigree and a wealth of experience from her previous pageantry successes. Her multifaceted talents as a dancer, artistic painter, songwriter, fashion designer and medical student in Cuba outline her remarkable versatility and dedication to excellence.

Her participation in the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant serves as a testament to her calibre of talent and achievement.

Torisha La force

Torisha La Force has always been involved in athletics; now, she is stepping out of her comfort zone and will be participating in the first-ever Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant. She has also requested everyone to come out and support her in this exhilarating journey.

Her inspiring and exceptional journey exemplifies talent, resilience and unwavering dedication and commitment towards her goals.

Jada Arthur- October

She graduated from Howard University with a B.S. in Biology and is pursuing a career as a Paediatrician. She has also been the lead Science Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools and a Resident Assistant at Howard University.

Now, she is gearing up to win the crown, becoming the next Miss Saint Lucia and getting a chance to highlight Saint Lucian culture before the world. She is all set to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the island nation through her beauty and charm.

Kelly Smith 

Kelly Smith embodies the spirit of the nation’s vibrant culture and diverse talents. She is all set to display empowerment, diversity, intelligence and leadership by participating in the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant.

Trisha LaForce

Trisha LaForce is all set to represent her culture and heritage at the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant with her skills in art, craft and other fields. With her elegance and beauty, she has turned out to be a great source of inspiration for the entire young generation.

Neka Andre

Neka Andre is all set to represent Soufriere North at the Miss Saint Lucia USA Independence Pageant. She is ready to carry herself with elegance and grace, being as charming as she is beautiful.
