PM Terrance Drew signs ‘Book of Condolences’ to honour late Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton

St Kitts and Nevis: Dr Terrance Drew – The Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, has recently issued a signed Book of Condolences in the honour of the late Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton, the Former Governor General of St Kitts and Nevis who passed away on 29 June 2023.
According to the latest information, Prime Minister Terrance Drew has expressed his heartfelt sadness and grief on the demise of the late Governor General and extended words of strength to his family and loved ones.
In addition, he signed the book of condolences in respect of the late Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley following his return from the EU-CELAC summit in its third edition held in Brussels, Belgium, from 17 to 18 July 2023.
The reports have also informed that during the signing of the Book of Condolences, Ambassador Leon Natta-Nelson also accompanied the Prime Minister of the Caribbean nation, Terrance Drew. Meanwhile, the update was made public to the Kittitians and Nevisians through the official social media platforms of the St Kitts and Nevis government.
Furthermore, to address St Kitts and Nevis nationals regarding the signing ceremony of the book of condolences, the shared updates noted that “Prime Minister the Honourable Dr Terrance Drew, who returned to the Federation today after attending the EU-CELAC Summit in Brussels, as well as Ambassador Leon Natta-Nelson also signed the Book of Condolence in honour of the late Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton.”
As per the sources, PM Drew can be seen signing the book of condolences mentioning his deepest emotions and best regards to the late Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton in the shared photograph.
It was outlined that the Prime Minister shared a deep and strong relationship with the deceased Governor General of St Kitts and Nevis.
Following the unfortunate demise of Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton last month on 29 June 2023, the entire Caribbean nation has extended support and encouragement to the family and beloved ones of the deceased.
