PM Chastanet says he travelled on American Airlines not on private plane
Prime Minister of St Lucia, Allen Chastanet have raised his voice against fake news in the country. He stated that some people are spreading false news to feed their political propaganda.

Prime Minister of St Lucia, Allen Chastanet have raised his voice against fake news in the country. He stated that some people are spreading false news to feed their political propaganda.
Prime Minister stated that he have been made aware of yet another fake document in circulation which some are using to push a political narrative.
A recent document is being surfaced stating that the Prime Minister travelled on a private jet to the United States. Clearing the air on allegations, Prime Minister noted that the accusations are false and he travelled on American Airlines.
“For both departure and return flights I used American Airlines commercial flights and at no time during this trip did I fly on a private aircraft,” stated Prime Minister.
“The document in question purports to be a private jet’s manifest bearing my name- Prime Minister Allen M. Chastanet. I take this opportunity to advise the public that the information on the document is fake.” declared St Lucian Prime Minister in a Facebook page.
He stated that as communicated by my Office, he left for Miami on Wednesday, May 5th 2021 and returned to the island on Saturday, May 8th 2021.
Prime Minister stated that since his arrival back home from Miami, he has been in quarantine and has had only virtual meetings. He advised the public to be ever mindful of false information circulated with malicious intent
