Castries, Saint Lucia: Lucian Carnival 2024 concludes on a positive note and attracted thousands of visitors to the island nation. The event also welcomes several celebrities and influencers who graced the occasion with their presence and electrifying performances.
The celebrities who participated in the Carnival 2024 includes, Nathalie Emmanuel from Game of Thrones; Korra Obidi, Nigerian sensation, Singer, Dancer, Content Creator; Jesse Woo, Actress, Musician, Content Creator, Comedienne; Patrice Roberts, Soca Artist and Shanique Singh, Miss Jamaica World 2022.
The tourism authority of Saint Lucia hosted several exciting events and activities as a part of the carnival and out of which few of them were attended by the Prime Minister, Philip J Pierre also. Along with that, the Prime Minister talked about the last days of Carnival and stated that it was truly a spectacle of colour, rhythm and positive vibes.
The Carnival was concluded with Lucian Carnival Parade of the Bands which was held for two days where the vibrant culture and contagious energy of Saint Lucia came alive. The streets buzzed with excitement as residents and visitors united for this spectacular celebration. All the attendees immersed themselves in the electrifying rhythms of Dennery Segment and Soca, the stunning costumes, and the joyful atmosphere that offered them an unforgettable experience.
Notably, the bands who all participated in this year’s parade include, Happy Fete, Nou Wivay, just us Kids, Creative Mas, Harmony, Insomiel, Xtatic, R & E, Royalties Extreme and Laughs & Giggles.
The Minister of Tourism of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire also bid farewell to another successful Carnival season. He extended gratitude to all the stakeholders who contributed to making this event a huge success.
“To our visitors, I hope you enjoyed your stay and wish you the best in planning your return. Until we meet again,” noted the Tourism Minister.
The Lucian Carnival 2024 which is known as the celebration of music, dance, costumes, colour and vibrant culture and traditions of the country was considered the huge success which offered all its visitors with an experience they have never witnessed before.
