Jammu and Kashmir, India: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has started hosting the final day’s activities for the third G20 Tourism Working Group (TWG) conference.
The meetings and workshops held over the previous two days were attended by international delegates, who paid particular attention to advancements in tourism and other areas between the G20 nations.
An individual from Ganderbal commented on the G20 summit in Srinagar, saying, “We hope this will encourage tourism. We also hope that people frequent this location and that such events are held frequently. The arrival of foreign visitors will end local unemployment. Now that everyone in the nation is aware of how kind Kashmiris are, we were able to extend a warm welcome to the delegates.”
The G20 summit, which would improve Kashmir‘s tourism and business sectors, was warmly welcomed by the people of Kashmir. The delegates will tour a number of Srinagar’s well-known locations.
Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor of J-K, G Kishan Reddy, Dr Jitendra Singh, and Amitabh Kant, the G20 Sherpa, all attended the meeting on Tuesday.
Union Minister Reddy addressed the gathering and stated, “The Government of India and the Ministry of Tourism are committed to working with all the G20 member countries and all the International organisations to promote sustainably practises that benefit the people and the planet.”
Singh added that Srinagar has the highest railway bridge in the world and a wide variety of workmanship. When it comes to its responsibilities to the economy, ecology, and society as a whole, India is prepared to share global responsibility.
“Young people are quite knowledgeable, and they are aware of the vast prospects that India’s prime minister is providing. The average Srinagar citizen wants to join PM Modi’s worldwide expedition,” he continued.
Jammu & Kashmir has traditionally been the epicentre of knowledge, wisdom, and stunning scenery, according to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who spoke at the session. This place of tranquilly had to endure 30 years of state-sponsored terrorism by the surrounding nation.
“PM Modi did, however, introduce development programmes that strengthened the state. J&K is currently welcoming a new era that is conducive to peace, progress, and growth. Jammu and Kashmir is one of the developed states in the nation today,” he continued.
