One of the renowned brands, Hilton, adds another Caribbean and Latin American region to its list, announcing the signing of an agreement for two new hotels in Guyana on Wednesday. With this, Hilton continues its expansion in the region, currently hosting more than 225 affiliated hotels and welcoming guests from around the globe.

The brand Hilton Georgetown and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Georgetown will be marked as the first hotels of the company in Guyana.

It is owned by an affiliate of Assets Group and managed by Hilton. These two properties combined 411 keys and will form part of an oceanfront, mixed-use business, and entertainment complex in the country’s capital.

Both the properties chosen by the company, Hilton Georgetown and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Georgetown will play a huge role in providing easy access to nearby embassies and businesses. It will also open an array of entertainment options for all the guests, including the scenic National Park and historic sites, all within approximately six miles of the Ogle International Airport.

The hotels will also provide the benefit of shared spaces and amenities, while offering unique property-specific experiences throughout their shared location.

As per the details, 11-story Hilton Georgetown will feature an elevated stay experience with 253 guest rooms and suites. It will also offer an array of energizing spaces, including a striking lobby bar and signature restaurant with locally inspired menus and handcrafted cocktails. The guests will also get an opportunity to enjoy an outdoor pool with all-day dining options.

Meanwhile, the brand-new DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Georgetown will offer 158 contemporary suites with spaces where guests can relax, connect, and feel at home. The hotel will bring the brand’s feel-good moments which will start when guests check in and are welcomed with the signature of brand, DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie.

Moreover, the visitors of Hilton Georgetown and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Georgetown will also enjoy access to a member-only Social Club that will also be managed by Hilton.

The guests of each hotel and social club member will offer exclusive wellness and recreation amenities including a pool, fitness center and spa; a coworking space, and a library and boardroom designed for business travellers.

The Social Club will offer unique food and beverage experiences with two full-service dining options, two bars and a coffee and bakery shop which will be open to all guests, members, and locals alike.

Notably, with more than 225 open hotels, Hilton continues to expand their connection and plans to enter eight new countries and territories in the region over the next few years, including Bermuda and Paraguay in 2024 and Guyana in 2027, among others.
