Guyana: Health Ministry invites candidates to engage in Pharmacy Assistant Training Programme
The Ministry of Health of Guyana has invited candidates to participate in the Pharmacy Assistant Training Programme.

Guyana: The Ministry of Health of Guyana has invited candidates to participate in the Pharmacy Assistant Training Programme. Applications are invited from appropriately qualified persons who are interested in being trained as Pharmacy Assistants in Region No. 10. The Programme Duration will be 9 Months and Contractual obligations will be for three (3) years.
As per the ministry, the entry requirements will be:
A minimum of four (4) CSEC subjects General Proficiency Grades I, II or III inclusive of English Language A, Mathematics and any one of the Science subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Human and Social Biology.)
OR
A minimum of four (4) subjects at GCE Ordinary Levels, Grades A, B or C inclusive of English Language, Mathematics and any one of the Science subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Human and Social Biology.) Only persons between the ages of eighteen (18) and thirty-five (35) years are eligible to apply.
“Successful applicants are required to be in possession of a valid Guyana Passport, NIS card, TIN Certificate, COVID-19 vaccination card and an active bank account,” the ministry informed.

The ministry informed that filled application forms must be delivered to the Office of the Regional Health Officer, Region No 10, Linden.
NOTE: This training programme will be conducted in Region No.10. As per the Ministry, the closing date for applications is February 10, 2023 and the applications submitted post-date will not be accepted.
