Guadeloupe: Another Dominican dies, investigation underway

Dominica: The investigation in the killing case of a Dominican national in Guadeloupe has been started by the authorities in Guadeloupe. It was reported that the victim killed was identified as Kurt Ambo, who resided in the neighbouring French Island.

Kurt Ambo was known as ‘Fifty of Woodford hill,’ and he was in his mid-thirties.

According to the reports by the media, the victim was shot and found riddled with bullets when he was found dead. She was found dead shortly before 8 pm on February 18, 2022, near the roadway in Pointe-a Pitre, as per the preliminary information by the media.

The family members and the close friends of the deceased have said that there are no expectations that the Ambo was involved in any of the conflicts.

In November 2021, David Green of Yampiece, another Dominican resident, was killed in the same region.

On the same day, a murder of a man from the Diego Martin region of Trinidad and Tobago was found dead on the road. The body was spotted by the police officers of the Four Roads Police Station in the area. According to the police, the man whose dead body had been found was murdered by the unidentified assailant on Thursday night.
