Embassy of Taiwan in St Vincent and the Grenadines shares importance of hand hygiene
Embassy of ROC (Taiwan) in St Vincent and the Grenadines focuses on the importance of World Hand Hygiene Day 2023.

Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines: Embassy of ROC (Taiwan) in St Vincent and the Grenadines has recently shared a post by Taiwan Technical Mission in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, focusing on the importance of World Hand Hygiene Day 2023.
The shared by Embassy further shed light on when hands must be washed to maintain hand hygiene. The post noted, “World Hand Hygiene Day 2023! When do you perform hand hygiene?”
It added, “Five moments of hand hygiene: Before touching the patient, Before the clean or infective procedure, After body fluid exposure, After touching the patient, and After touching the patient’s surroundings.”
Furthermore, it pointed out the theme for the year and mentioned, “The theme of this year’s WHA is: Saving lives and driving health for all.” It added, “YES!!! TAIWAN CAN HELP!!! The Public Health Emergency Response, System Enhancement Project, is HELPING”.”
Moreover, it informed that the Health, Wellness and Environment Ministry in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), in collaboration with the TaiwanICDF, hosted a workshop on Basic Infection Control under the Public Health Emergency Response System Enhancement Project.
It added that this workshop was held on Friday, the 21st of April, 2023. A total of thirty-seven (37) participants were trained from different departments, such as Hospital Services, Community Health Services, SVG Cadet Force – SARMU, the Health Security Unit, and the Royal SVG Police Force.
