Civil Aviation Division of St Kitts and Nevis announces new website and reporting system

Civil Aviation Division of St Kitts and Nevis have announced a new website and reporting system. The division that falls under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it is keeping up with with all requirements of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), ICAO.

The division stated in a press release that a signatory to the Chicago Convention that speaks to Civil Aviation Security, Saint Kitts and Nevis is compulsory to safeguard the passengers, crew, aerodrome, and ground personnel in all matters related to civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference.

This is in keeping with the requirements and suggested practices of the governing body for civil aviation international.

The main objective of this website is to provide a medium where any person can make reports or provide feedback regarding any occurrence and/or experience while arriving at or departing from any of the two airports within the Federation, namely: the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport and the Vance Amory International Airport. Provisions will be made for persons reporting to remain anonymous but will include an option for those who wish to be identified.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation Mark Brantley asserted “Covid-19 has shown us the significance of managing operations online. I am happy that this website presents a new road for our stakeholders to communicate with the Civil Aviation Division.”

He continued that as coronavirus has driven the world into an exceptional technological time, the launch of this website appears at a very important time.

He noted that the newly launched website would be equipped with appropriate knowledge provided towards sensitizing and teaching residents and visitors.

Minister Brantley stated that the website is created with a user-friendly practice in understanding, visitors to the situation can not only record but also obtain information about the purposes and functions of the Civil Aviation Division.
