Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: A 36-year-old man named Darryl Boucaud was shot to death outside his home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at St Ann’s in Port-of-Spain.
Reportedly, it has been identified that the deceased was also known as ‘Gagga’ of Symond Valley Road.
Notably, around 10:15 pm, Boucaud was wandering on the front porch of his home when a white Nissan Trail drove up to the house.
Two gunmen then came out of the car and shot Boucaud several times about the body before driving off. Therefore, one of his relatives, who was present in the house at the time, heard the loud explosion, and he immediately went to investigate what had happened outside.
The relative discovered Boucaud’s lifeless body, bleeding from the multiple gunshot wounds and lying motionless on the ground.
It is to be noted that they informed the police straight away, and the responding officers, along with a DMO, visited the scene. As soon as they saw the body, they declared him dead on the spot.
The region homicide detectives are still finding the culprits, and the enquiries are still going on. They even shared their number with the people if, by chance, someone would get the information regarding the matter.
However, this is not the first case that came to light in Trinidad and Tobago, as recently, the last murder that took place in the St Ann’s area was reported on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
In that case, the body of Marvin Alleyne, aka Goldi and Marva, was found stabbed to death along with Lady Chancellor Hill.
It is high time for people to come together and fight against such crimes, and it is everybody’s responsibility to support each other in a time of need.
One should not think about themselves only but look after others as well. It is the duty of the administration to take strict action against such crime, which disturbs the peace and harmony of the nation and its citizens.
One should immediately notify police when anything like this happens around them.
