The Parliamentary Representative of the constituency mentioned, “The future is bright! I am very proud to present the former winner of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s 2014 sitting Keanu Winston and Paloma Mark, who will be representing Roseau Central at the National Youth Parliament carded for March 23-24, 2022. These two exceptional orators are ready to make a positive impact on their wider community.”

She lauded the young population of the country for passionately participating in the development events. Melissa Skerrit further asked parents to encourage their students to participate in the proceedings, which might help them in becoming further parliamentary representatives as well as senators.

“It is amazing to see that our young people are so passionate about our country and its development. Parents, expose your children to Parliament proceedings as these current youth parliamentarians developed an interest in that manner and will most likely go on to be senators, Parliamentary Representatives or future politicians,” Melissa stated.

She then congratulated every participant and wished them good luck.
