Dominica: Parliamentary Representative of Roseau Central – Melissa Poponne Skerrit has recently collaborated with Tricia Mohan Volney to host a two week formal etiquette training session with children across the island.

She took social media and expressed her gratitude. She wrote, “It is my pleasure to announce my collaboration with Mrs. Tricia Mohan Volney to host a two week formal etiquette training session with children across the island.”

Mrs Tricia Mohan-Volney is the founder of Royal-T Events. She is the wife of Retired High Court Judge, Herbert Volney, and mother of two boys ages 18 and 13.

Mrs Volney spent nine years at Royal Bank and pursued studies in the field of Management & Industrial & Organizational Psychology.

In 1999, she had a golden opportunity to work aboard Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruise lines. For three years she sailed the high seas of Russia & the Baltic, Eastern & Western Mediterranean, Alaska and the Pacific coast and the beautiful islands of the Caribbean. Two decades ago, she returned home to start a family.

In 2016, Mrs Volney pursued courses in formal dining etiquette, social etiquette, business and wedding etiquette from the Etiquette School of Florida. In 2018, she graduated from The George Washington University as a certified Events Manager. She was also trained by The Royal Butler, Grant Harrold, (former butler to HRH Prince Charles, HRH Price Williams and the Royal household) on Afternoon Tea Etiquette and Formal Dining Etiquette.

Mrs Volney has proudly trained hundreds of children and young adults in the art of fine dining and social graces over the years. She is grateful for the opportunity to now expand her horizon and bring this signature formal dining etiquette training event to the children of Dominica.
