New Delhi, India: The 12th edition of the IREX Residency and Citizenship Conclave was successfully hosted at Le Meridian, New Delhi, from 9th to 10th September 2022. In this Conclave, top Caribbean jurisdictions participated and showcased their respective Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme.

The leading government advisory firm specialising in citizenship and residency solutions – CS Global Partners, represented three island countries of the Caribbean – Commonwealth of Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis and Saint Lucia. The Conclave provided a platform for investors to understand investment opportunities better. It also ensured that the potential investors gathered all the detailed information about the programmes.

However, the CBI Programme of the Caribbean countries has been regarded as one of the global trusted by the CBI Index 2022. The CBI of Dominica and St Kitts and Nevis topped the Index and Saint Lucia, for the first time, came third.

The Conclave informed the investors about the importance of the CBI Programmes and how investing in any one of these countries could offer the international investors a gateway to access the most important business hubs worldwide, stable currencies, quality education and health facilities. The event witnessed the gathering of a diverse mix of clientele from the globe. Entrepreneurs, bankers, chartered accountants, financial experts, and wealth managers, and many attended the Conclave.

During the two-day event, the immigration experts from various firms attended the Conclave and were also engaged in one-on-one interactions at their respective booths in the exhibition hall throughout the day. These experts also helped the High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) who wanted to invest in alternative citizenship by investing in real estate properties or by making a donation through the Fund Option. The HNWIs from more than 25 countries across the globe visited the event. A large number of audience was from Australia, Canada, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Montenegro, Portugal, Saint Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, UAE, UK, USA and more.

The representatives of CS Global Partners helped the HNWIs understand how investment in St Kitts and Nevis, Dominica and St Lucia can offer the opportunity to obtain citizenship and diversify one’s portfolio by making a contribution to the local economy.

The Commonwealth of Dominica offers two investment options to investors, including Economic Diversification Fund and Real Estate Option. However, St Kitts and Nevis provides a most straightforward route for investment through the Sustainable Growth Fund. Key investments in Saint Lucia include the National Economic Fund Investment and real estate, amongst others.

India was a suitable option for the hosting of a residency and citizenship conclave as it has been emerging as one of the largest emigrant populations in the world. Many Indians are looking for opportunities to get foreign residency and citizenship.
