Barbados: Three inaugural flights touched down earlier today at the Grantley Adams International Airport, as Barbados moves forwards to expand its European and American markets post COVID-19 pandemic.
First flight United Airlines 388 from Newark landed in Barbados after 12 PM which was led by Barbadian pilot Captain Ryan Padmore. United Airlines 390 followed at 2:50 pm from Dulles, Washington;
while the third flight, Virgin Atlantic 233 from Edinburgh, Scotland, arrived at 4:15 pm.
Among other officials Miniter of International Transport and Tourism, Senator Lisa Cummins was among the officials welcoming the crew and passegers of all three flights into Barbados.
