Antigua and Barbuda: Prime Minister of the twin-island country of Antigua and Barbuda and the leader of Antigua Barbuda Labour Party, Gaston Browne, participated in the election rally of the representative Gail Christian. During the rally, the Prime Minister assured that he would provide full support to the representative of the Rural West.

PM Browne further thanked the general public of Antigua and Barbuda for supporting the Labour Party and anticipated that the supporters would cast a vote in favour of the representative and the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party. He also extended thanks towards the people of the nation, especially the public of Rural West, for their continuous support.

Furthermore, he stated that the Rural West Constituency of Antigua and Barbuda will always have two leaders, as it has always assisted Gaston Browne in nurturing. He was quoted saying, “I have always said when it comes to Rural West, the Labour Party will always have two leaders because the constituency has helped in nurturing Gaston Browne.”

During the rally, he highlighted that the Labour Party has been focusing on women’s empowerment, and all the rallies, post and during elections operations, have been managed by the women of the political party.

PM Browne then highlighted the representation of Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean Community of CARICOM. He stated that the ABLP has always worked to earn support from all the CARICOM members, and the twin-island country of Antigua and Barbuda is known to have the most number of CARICOM representatives.

Following this, he took the platform to slam the party of opposition, United Progressive Party (UPP) and said that the political party has always made fake promises and failed to fulfil them.

While concluding his address to the audience of the West Rural, Prime Minister Gaston Browne stated that the “Next Level” is not just a slogan; it is a new frontier of development. He outlined that if he and his political party were elected, they would work for the advancement of each and every people in the nation. PM Browne added that he is confident that all the 17 seats are will the Labour Party.
