Virgin Atlantic Airways to commence flights between St Vincent and Grenada (via Barbados)

Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines: The Virgin Atlantic Airways Limited, also known as Virgin Atlantic, will commence inter-Caribbean flights from June 14, 2023 (Wednesday).

Joining the inter-island Airlines market, Virgin Atlantic announced state flights between the Caribbean islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada via Barbados. This launch will ease the travelling of travel enthusiasts from the beautiful and mesmerizing islands of Barbados, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada, making it a multi-island holiday.

The airlines shared their take on the commencement of the airlines within the region. The official statement by Virgin Atlantic stated that the introduction of the new inter-island services aims to expand the horizons for international and local customers, allowing them to delve into the wonders of the Caribbean and discover the distinctive character of each island.

It added that in response to the growing desire for immersive travel experiences, Virgin Atlantic Holidays is offering comprehensive packages that encompass effortless booking, preferred itineraries, and smooth transitions between islands. These packages ensure that customers receive the same exceptional Virgin Atlantic service they have come to appreciate during their transatlantic flights.

According to the official statement, there will be an additional boost in flight frequency to St Vincent and the Grenadines, with three weekly flights scheduled for the upcoming winter season. This expansion further emphasizes the enduring demand for luxurious and sun-soaked retreats following the pandemic.

It further cited an example and outlined that travellers can enjoy a 10-night all-inclusive trip to the island of St Vincent (via Barbados) after the commencement of the airline service. This trip for two adults will cost around £1035 per person. In addition to this, it also recommended accommodation at the ultra-luxurious Blue Lagoon Hotel and Coconut Court Beach Hotel.

According to the official update, the Virgin Atlantic flight service between Barbados and St Vincent will commence on Wednesdays and Sundays in the summer season. However, in the winter season, an additional day will be added, and the flights will take off on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.
