St Kitts and Nevis welcomes four carriers in one day, boosts tourism

The Robert L Bradshaw International Airport of St Kitts and Nevis marked the busiest day by witnessing the arrival and departure of four carriers from different airlines to and from the island nation on 11th September 2024. Such a busy schedule sheds light on the fact that the country is heading forth as a premier destination for travellers.
Firstly, the Sunrise Airways E120 made its visit to the shores of St Kitts and Nevis which was later departed via Taxiway Alpha for Antigua. The aircraft made its visit for its daily route services cconnecting Dominica to Antigua, St. Kitts and St. Lucia.
Notably, Sunrise Airways landed in St. Kitts on its inaugural flight from Antigua in May 2024, welcoming the newest addition to the skies of the country. And, since then the airline is offering its services, enhancing convenient travel options for passengers and opens up new opportunities for cultural and economic exchanges between the islands.
Silver Airways ATR 42-600 was also one of the aircraft that made their visit to St Kitts and Nevis. The aircraft was later departed back to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The airline brought large number of passengers along with it, enhancing their connectivity.
Moreover, WinAir ATR 42-500 also arrived in St Kitts and Nevis from St Maarten with an onward connection to Tortola. WinAir, a regional airline based in St Maarten has been providing its services to St Kitts and Nevis since several years, providing ease travel options to the passengers travelling between the island nations.
British Airways 777-200, powered by two massive Rolls Royce Trent 800 engines, was also seen departing St Kitts and Nevis for Antigua and Barbuda on the short hop over via Taxiway Alpha at the Robert Bradshaw International Airport.
Notably, British Airways offers direct services to St Kitts and Nevis twice a week from London Gatwick. These flight services are available at the cost of £1,473 for the round trip.
All these visits by the airline on the daily service routes marks the surge in the arrival of passengers. This also marks the excitement among the passengers for attending the pre festivities of the 41st Independence of the country.
Also, several airlines have expanded their services to St Kitts and Nevis, which outlines the positive growth that can be recorded in the tourism sector of the country in the coming months.
