St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew hosted the first ever Cabinet meeting with members of his Cabinet and the invited persons on August 15, 2022 (Monday).

St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew hosted the first ever Cabinet meeting with members of his Cabinet and the invited persons on August 15, 2022 (Monday). This meeting was organised in the Cabinet Room of the Office of the Prime Minister and was attended by the full slate of the Cabinet members.
The attendees of the meeting included new Deputy Prime Minister – Dr Geoffrey Hanley, former Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Denzil Douglas, Konris Maynard, Samal Duggins, and Marsha Henderson, as well as Senator Garth Wilkin, Attorney General and Senator Joyelle Clarke.
During the meeting, PM Terrance Drew highlighted that the newly elected administration of the twin-island Federation will work for its people and will be fully committed to their best interests.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew mentioned, “Today, I want to say to the people of St Kitts and Nevis that we are ready, ready to really set the agenda to take St Kitts and Nevis back to number one.”
Furthermore, PM Drew took a moment to congratulate his Cabinet colleagues for swearing in on their new ministerial positions. He expressed pride in his federal Cabinet and stated that now formed part of a transformative Cabinet, one that he knew would make the people of St Kitts and Nevis very, very proud for selecting them to lead the Government at this time.
He also assured that his administration will constantly be in contact with the people of St Kitts and Nevis, whom they serve, “so that there can be constant feedback between the people and us so that we make sure that we stay on the path that we have put forth.”
The invitees at the meeting also included Senator Isalean Phillip, Kenneth Douglas, Leon Natta-Nelson, Dr Marcus Natta and Diana Humphrey.
