St Kitts and Nevis Tourism Ministry announced new COVID travel instructions, effective from August 15

St Kitts and Nevis: The Ministry of Tourism has announced new travel instructions which came into effect from August 15, 2022 (Monday).

The instructions which were implemented on Monday were as follows:

  • All unvaccinated and vaccinated travellers are permitted to enter the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis. This includes citizens, residents, and international travellers.
  • Travellers must complete and submit an online customs and immigration form before arrival. You will not receive approval for entry in response to completing the form, as this is no longer required.

From now, travellers are NOT required to:

• Present a negative COVID-19 test.
• Show proof of vaccination to enter the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
• Quarantine upon arrival.

The visitors must follow essential health and safety protocols of frequent hand wash and/ or sanitizing, observe physical distancing, and wearing masks.

The deadly COVID-19 infection is under control in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis. As of the data shared on August 13, 2022 (Friday), the island country reported no active cases and zero death in 24 hours. However, the total number of active cases in St Kitts and Nevis has been 23, out of which 15 are in St Kitts, and the remaining 7 are on its sister island – Nevis.

The total number of death reported in the country stands at 46. St Kitts has reported 39 deaths, whereas Nevis has registered eight deaths.
