The leaders of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party extended wishes to all the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis on the occasion of  New Year 2024 through their Facebook account.

The Prime Minister- Dr Terrence Drew, was not able to deliver the New Year’s message as it was initially planned. PM Drew has contracted the flu virus, due to which they weren’t able to proceed with the scheduled live broadcast.

However, PM Drew sent his wishes in written form, he wished a year filled with prosperity, joy and good health to all the citizens of the nation.

While the Foreign Minister of the Federation, Denzil Llewellyn Douglas wished all the citizens with a positive mindset and work for the betterment of the nation.

“Facing 2024 with optimism and hope. I may not be able to see around the corner or what my tomorrows will bring. But in each of us lies faith which when experienced breathes confidence and strength,” stated Minister Douglas.

He also wished strength, positivity, confidence, resilience, positivity, purpose and hope to the people.

Moreover, Minister of Public Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities, Domestic Transport, Konris Maynard shared his family picture on Facebook and stated “From our family to yours, Happy New Year. With God’s blessings, may 2024 take you to your next level.”

Further, the Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Geoffrey Hanley addresses everyone on the occasion of a New Year 2024 on behalf of PM Drew. While wishing everyone, the Minister stated that “As we embrace the dawn of a new year, I extend my heartfelt New Year’s greetings to each and every one of you. The year 2024 beckons with the promise of a fresh start, renewed hope and the opportunity to collectively shape our destiny.”

While bidding goodbye to the year 2023 and stepping into the new year, the minister asked all the citizens to celebrate harmony that defines and recommit themselves to elevate their nation. The Minister wishes the safety, security, hope and accomplishment of all the citizens of the Federation.

“As we embark on this journey of progress, may the coming year be a testament to our resilience and the boundless potential that lies within our Land of Beauty: A country where pace bounds,” said Minister Dr Geoffrey Hanley.
