Jamaican officers found dead body of man, continues investigation
The investigating officers of Jamaica are investigating the mystery behind the matter after the dead body of a man was found under the bridge along Howard Cooke Boulevard in Montego Bay, St James on Wednesday morning.

St James, Jamaica: The officers of Jamaica are investigating the mystery behind the matter after the dead body of a man was found under the bridge along Howard Cooke Boulevard in Montego Bay, St James on Wednesday morning.
The deceased man has not been identified yet but authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the person in order to prevail justice for the victim.
As per the reports, officers were called shortly when the residents of the community found the body lying on its back under the bridge, bleeding from the wounds he received.
As soon as the residents found the body, they alerted the authorities about the discovery, and they immediately responded to the matter by visiting the spot where they found the body of the victim.
They held the investigation by seizing the place, and on examining the body, they found multiple wounds to the face of the victim. Straight after, the body was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where it was confirmed dead.
The body has been transported to the morgue and is waiting for the post-mortem examination to know the cause of the death.
While giving a description of the victim, the officers shared that the body appeared to be in his late 50s or early 60s, five feet and seven inches long, dark brown complexion. Along with that, the man was dressed in a blue shirt and khaki-coloured pants and was wearing black Crocs.
The authorities have requested the citizens to assist them if they have any information about the deceased. Several residents of the community took to their official social media accounts and expressed their different opinions and views on the matter.
One person commented, “I don’t know what has happened but if somebody has killed him, that person should be punished for what he or she did.”
Another person commented the following “May that person’s soul rest in peace, I hope that person gets justice soon, it is raising my curiosity about what would have happened with that person.”
The authorities have promised to probe the matter in detail to get the reason behind the death of the man and to punish the person whosoever is responsible for this offence.
