Jamaica: Kamina Johnson expresses pleasure in meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong.
Kamina Johnson is on an official tour of Ghana. She landed in Accra on May 16, 2022 (Monday).
The meeting witnessed the discussion on strengthening the relationship between both countries. The delegations of both the countries also held a discussion on the cooperation in multilateral for Jamaica and Ghana.
Kamina Johnson took social media and stated, “It was a pleasure to meet with Dep Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of #Ghana, Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong @Sarpong_KA upon landing in #Accra. We had good discussions on strength of Ghana-Jamaica relations as well our cooperation in multilateral for Jamaica and Ghana.”

Furthermore, she stated that the discussion also focused on her candidacy for the Commonwealth. She also shared her profile and statement for reviewing before the scheduled meeting with President.
As per the schedule, Kamina Johnson will meet the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, later in the day.
She further informed, “We also discussed my candidacy for #Commonwealth SG, and I was happy to share my profile and statements for further review prior to my planned meeting with President @NAkufoAddo scheduled for later that day.”
Currently, Kamina is on an official tour of several countries. She recently shared a glimpse of her latest visit to Ghana.
She expressed pleasure in interacting with the authorities and the people of the region.
The Foreign Minister further extended thanks for the ancestral welcome and honour in Ghana.
She expressed her love and thanks to the people of Ghana. She stated, “What an honour. What a great privilege. I give thanks for the goodwill, the welcome, the ancestral honour, the global connection and the #love.”
