Kingston, Jamaica: The police officers found the decomposing body of a man in the bushes near the Old Harbour main road in St Catherine on Friday. The scene is being investigated by the police.
According to the reports, it has been believed that he was the same male who was on the bike with the policeman when they met with an accident on Wednesday. The reports further suggest that the individual was probably a pillion rider on a bike, driven by a policeman.
As per sources, the bike collided on the road and the incident turned into a terrible accident. Investigating officials are linking the man whose mutilated body was found to the accident that took place on Wednesday as they found his body at the same place where the accident took place.
Further, the police officials took the body to the medical facility and the forensic reports are yet to be received by the department. The officers urged the public with any information to come forward and assist them with their investigation.
The news has been shared by the various social media pages and many people took to their Facebook handle to extend their condolences for the male, whose body was recovered from St Catherine.
While reacting to the news, a person named Grace Favour commented, “God please my head is full can you please help us, evil as taken over instead of your kindness unto given life the weapons man’s as make is destroying the world. The spirit of Ninrod is fast growing into our earth.”
Another FB user, by the name of Delrose Brady, wrote, “So sad and tragic. Why we always like to throw Blame? Cant look for something you don’t know exist. Police are not magitions. Deepest sympathy to the families.”
Additionally, some people expressed their frustrations for the officials as they believed that police had not searched the area properly.
One such comment, by a person named Platinum Black Chicka wrote, “To me he died after he suffered to death he didn’t die immediately after the crash to me…but so much questions the police was even there for hours Wednesday afternoon. So not even then it wasn’t noticed just sad. RIP young blood.”
