Dominica PM Roosevelt Skerrit congratulates newly elected Grenadian PM Dickon Mitchell
Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit has extended congratulations to the newly elected Prime Minister of Grenada – Dickon Mitchell.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit has extended congratulations to the newly elected Prime Minister of Grenada – Dickon Mitchell. The PM also congratulated the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for emerging victorious in the general elections.
PM Skerrit took social media to extend the wishes and wrote, “Congratulations to the Prime Minister-elect of Grenada Dickon Mitchell and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on emerging victorious in the June 23 general elections.”
He further wished for PM Mitchell’s success as the leader of new government, hoped that the Grenadian residents get sincere, hardworking and best Prime Minister in Dickon Mitchell. PM Skerrit also looked forward to work with the country to advance the common development goals of the region.
The post by PM Skerrit read, “I wish Mr. Mitchell every success as he forms a new government to lead the Grenadian people, and I look forward to working with him to advance the common development goals of our region.”
The congratulatory messages were poured over the newly elected prime minister by the residents of the Commonwealth of Dominica. One of the Dominica user commented, “Congratulations To You Mr Mitchell And Please Keep Close Ties With Dominica And Our Loving PM” and the another one wrote, “Congratulations to the Prime Minister of Grenada Mr Mitchell well done all the best to you sir.” The third one stated, “Congratulations to the new PM in Grenada”.
Grenada witnessed general elections on June 23. PM Mitchell won nine out of 15 constituencies and around 84,000 Grenadians were registered to vote in the elections on June 23.
