Dominica: The Sports Division of Dominica has announced the result of the Football Championship. As per the shared score, Dominica Grammar School had a perfect day on the field in the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Championship on Monday, December 12 2022.
In their Doubleheader against the Goodwill Secondary School in the U15 Division, the Dominica Grammar School defeated the Goodwill Secondary School by six goals to one.
Jervonte Hamilton and Marquish Benjamin scored two goals each, with Geovanni George and Grantly Samuel scoring 1 goal each for DGS. D’Andre Peltier scored the consolation goal for Goodwill Secondary School.
In the U20 Division, the Dominica Grammar School ran all over the Goodwill Secondary School with 12 goals to 1 beating. Malachi Bonney found the back of the Net seven (7) times; Ajani Richards scored two goals, with Conrad St Hillaire, Every JonBaptiste and Yawani Registe getting one goal each for DGS. Josimar Gustave got the lone goal for the Goodwill Secondary School.
The Doubleheader scheduled for Dublanc between the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School and the North East Comprehensive School was postponed.
Earlier, the Castle Bruce Secondary School won over the Goodwill Secondary School by seven (7) goals to nil; Scoring for Castle Bruce Secondary School was completed after Fabio Drigo, D’Mario Challenger and Turrie Christmas each got a brace, and a goal from Bryson Talbert added another important goal to the scoreboard.
According to the Sports Division of Dominica, one of the two games scheduled to be played on Friday, December 9, in the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football competition in the U17 Division took place in StockFarm.
