Dominica: Adicia Burton named featured speaker for Salybia Primary School’s 2023 Graduation Class
Adicia Burton, who has served as Miss Dominica 2023 and Miss Kalinago 2022, recently felt delighted to become the Featured Speaker of the 2023 Graduating Class of the Salybia Primary School.

Roseau, Dominica: Adicia Burton, who has served as Miss Dominica 2023 and Miss Kalinago 2022, recently felt delighted to become the Featured Speaker of the 2023 Graduating Class of the Salybia Primary School. While expressing her heartfelt feeling remembered her experience from the year 2014.
She highlighted that in 2014 she was valedictorian and scholarship recipient of the Salybia Primary School and, in 2023, the Featured Speaker of the 2023 Graduating Class.
She further highlighted that “Time truly flies…” and outlined that the Salybia Primary School is very dear to her heart, being her alma mater. They played an integral role in the success of the model, which is why she felt honoured to deliver the featured address to the 2023 graduates.
“My school continues to prove its excellence, and I couldn’t be more proud! Congratulations to Kellan Sanford and Rick Olive for their exceptional performance at the G6NA, obtaining a scholarship and bursary, respectively,” she highlighted through the social media post she recently shared through her official handles.
“I was very tempted to attach my entire speech here… but I will instead leave with you my favourite line, “BE OBSESSED WITH YOUR OWN POTENTIAL, WORK HARD, WORK WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND CHASE DOWN THOSE DREAMS”,” she highlighted through her social media.
In addition to this, she motivated and encouraged the general public of the Commonwealth of Dominica is be confident and keep working towards their goals. “Chasing a dream requires passion and hard work… Dream. Explore. Discover. Persevere,” she mentioned.
While concluding her post, she extended gratitude and thanks towards the principal and staff of the school for choosing her to give a speech during the graduating ceremony. “Thank you to the principal and staff of the Salybia Primary School. It was a pleasure,” she mentioned.
It is worth mentioning that Adicia Burton has always used social media platforms to motivate the public and has always tried to influence people of her country to do something for their nation.
