CPL 2022: The Barbados Royals managed to secure their fourth victory of the tournament against the Saint Lucia Kings on their home ground at Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

CPL 2022: The Barbados Royals managed to secure their fourth victory of the tournament against the Saint Lucia Kings on their home ground at Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.
The Cricket stadium witnessed the CPL 2022 tournament’s eleventh match, where Barbados Royals won the toss at the start of the game. The team elected to field first, a decision that worked quite well in their favour, and they managed to restrict the Saint Lucia Kings to a total of 169 runs at the loss of 6 wickets by means of their tight fielding and careful bowling.
On the other hand, the Barbados Royals managed to chase the target with 9 balls to spare. Corbin Bosch of the Barbados Royals was named the best player for his game. He played the term of 81 scores in 50 balls. Further, Tim David of the Royals also played a lone hand and put 40 runs on the scoreboard off of 23 balls.
With another defeat, Saint Lucia Kings have now now slipped to 5th in the Caribbean Premier League 2022 points tables. So far, the Kings have managed to win only one match throughout the four games. On the other hand, the Royals secured four matches while playing four matches and stood at the top of the Points table in this year’s CPL.
The Royals have performed exceptionally well after finishing in the CPL in 2019 with only three wins. David Miller emerged with more excellent guidance, and the team has dominated with their incredible batting and bowling. With the help of Azam Khan and Quinton de Kock, Miller performed tremendously and led his team to perform incredibly in the CPL 2022.
While Saint Lucia Kings are in urgent need to work on their team as they struggled to get going with the bat in their two losses.
Saint Lucia’s Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium witnessed the fourth match of the month-long tournament. Four matches remaining still remain to be played in Saint Lucia.
