The purpose of extended Lockdown
Day by day, there are increasing cases of COVID-19 reports in Barbados. Now the Lockdown is intended to stop the activity that can spread deadly coronavirus. The expansion of the curfew will decrease mobs’ gathering, which might also generate conditions for expanded COVID-19 infections.
Barbadians to get sooner results of COVID-19
Citizens of Barbados and visitants should expect some easing soon from the delays in obtaining their COVID-19 test outcomes, announces Senior Medical Officer in the Ministry of Health & Wellness, Dr. Anton Best.

On the other hand, the Government of Barbados postpones the reintroduction of alphabetical shopping. Dr. Jerome Walcott, Foreign Minister Senator, revealed, “We’ve learned the views of all sides – Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP), trade unions, the private sector associations. The sub-committee deliberated and agreed after examining all of the matters raised and the issues and concerns. The initiation of shopping utilizing the alphabet would not be acquainted at this time. That, it was not required at this need of the hour to pursue that.”
