Antigua Barbuda Athletics Association celebrates President Everton Cornelius’ re-election
Antigua Barbuda Athletic Association (ABAA) expressed congratulations towards the President Everton “Mano” Cornelius.

St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua Barbuda Athletic Association (ABAA) expressed congratulations towards the President Everton “Mano” Cornelius.
The Association noted, “The ABAA would like to congratulate our very own President Everton “Mano” Cornelius on being re-elected as a NACAC Council Member during their elections which were held in San Jose Costa on July 2023.”
It added that Mike Sands was returned as President, Garth Gayle, President of the Jamaica athletics association, has been elected as male vice president, and Cydonie Mothersill, President of the Cayman Islands athletics association, has been elected as female vice president, among others.
The ABAA also mentioned that some of the members in photos are Prof World Athletics Sébastian Coe, Brenda Williams – President of Dominica athletics association etc.
“Congratulations to the new NACAC executive that will go forward for the next four years,” it expressed through social media platforms.
In addition to this, (in another post) thanked Subway Antigua and Barbuda for welcoming home the athletes and officials following the conclusion of the NACAU U18 and U23 Track and Field Championships.
The Athletics Association noted that the ABAA would like to thank Subway Antigua and Barbuda for coming on board and offering a warm welcome home to our athletes and officials from the recently concluded NACAC U18 and U23 Track and Field Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica.
It is worth noting that Antigua and Barbuda’s team proudly secured six (6) medals in the tournament. The Association mentioned, “The Antiguan and Barbadian team returned home with six medals – 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze.”
“Subway provided a number of their top sandwiches for the athletes after a long journey home,” it mentioned, adding, “The ABAA would like to thank Subway and look forward to their continued support in the near future.”
