Frontier Airlines is all set to make a memorable comeback to Antigua and Barbuda with its non-stop services between the island nation and San Juan, Puerto Rico. These services will be effective from 15th February, 2025, offering services once a week, aiming to provide an unforgettable travel experience to all the passengers.
These services by the ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines are expected to play a huge role in enhancing connectivity between both the nations and making it accessible for citizens to travel to/from these respective destinations.
The Vice President of Network and Operations Design of Frontier Airlines, Josh Flyr shed light on the non-stop services from Antigua and Barbuda to San Juan. He said that he can’t wait to make their return to the twin-island nation and bring their aircraft back to the beautiful Caribbean destination.
The Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation, and Investment of Antigua and Barbuda, Charles Fernandez said that they are thrilled to welcome the airline back to the country. He also mentioned about the advancements made by the tourism authority in this year and referred to 2024 an exceptional one.
Minister Fernandez added that they have been marking phenomenal growth in their tourism arrivals, which signifies the commitment of the authorities towards elevating the sector. He said that these additional services announced by the Frontier Airlines would play a significant role in positioning Antigua and Barbuda strongly on the map.
He said that they are committed to continue to making efforts with a vision to mark record-breaking tourism performance in 2025 and make Antigua and Barbuda, a premier Caribbean destination for all the travellers.
The CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, Colin C. James also shed light on the services announced by the Frontier Airlines. He said that the return of Frontier Airlines to the twin-island nation would play a huge role in strengthening their regional connectivity and providing visitors with more travel options.
He also said that they are looking forward to these non-stop services by the airline and forming a successful partnership. He added that they are hoping to form a long and prosperous relationship with the airline in order to enhance not only their connectivity but also the tourism sector of the island nation.
Also, the V.C. Bird International Airport shared the picture of the aircraft of Frontier Airline on their official Facebook handle. “Right after Valentine’s Day next year, February 15, low-cost carrier Frontier will resume service into the VC Bird International Airport.”
They said that these services introduced by the airline are a great option for travellers to experience the beautiful paradise of Antigua and Barbuda.
